GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for driving to and receiving donations from our community partners, returning them in their entirety to the Main Shelter, and overseeing their processing and storage. This position collaborates with the Executive Chef, Chef Trainers, and the Donation Coordinator. St. Matthew’s House is faith based 501(c)(3) charitable organization that exists to transform lives in a spiritual environment that is both compassionate and disciplined.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Obey all policies of St. Matthew’s House transportation as well as all traffic laws of Collier County
- Daily interaction with donors in a corporate setting, reflecting the core values of St. Matthew’s House.
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of transportation vehicles.
- Ongoing updating of the Master Transportation Schedule
- Deliver daily Café production to their respective outlets
- Assist programs in the transportation of clients to various institutions, including, but not limited to, David Lawrence Center, Neighborhood Clinic, and CareerSource.
- Other transportation related tasks as deemed necessary by Executive Chef.
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Valid FL Driver’s License
Mental/Visual Demands: Flow of work requires normal mental and visual capabilities.
Working Conditions: Ability to sit for extended periods of time and lift 50lbs.
