We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for providing peer observations and providing documentation to teacher and Q Comp Advisor documenting teacher observation, data and other evidence required by the Q Comp plan. For more information, please see the job description for this position.

FTE: 1.0
Contract: 186 days per school year
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education, master’s degree preferred, and valid Minnesota teacher’s license, tenured STMA teacher with a minimum of seven years teaching and five years in the district or previous Q Comp experience in another district; displays a knowledge of effective, evidence-based teaching practices and employs those practices in his or her role (teacher, counselor, psychologist, etc.); demonstrates ability to use data for instructional planning and to participate effectively in a Professional Learning Community (PLC), effective communication; demonstrates organizational and time management skills, effective interpersonal relationship skills, and knowledge of a broad base of instructional strategies and practices that promote student learning.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary and benefits package. For more information, please see the Certified Master Contract 2023-2025. Salary range listed ($46,417-$98,146) is based on the collective bargaining agreement for 2024-2025 school year, the 2025-2026 collective bargaining agreement has yet to be negotiated. Full-time (1.0 FTE) certified staff benefits.
