Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for planning, instructing, and implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences for families with children ages birth to 5 Years. Early Childhood PELSB licensure (or the eligibility and willingness to obtain Out-of-Field Permission (OFP) for the required area of licensure) required.
Start date: August 25, 2025
Contract: 0.75 to 1.0 FTE, to be determined based on availability and enrollment.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:30am-2 pm, one or more evening per week, and special event(s) __ final scheduled to be determined by ECFE Coordinator Shonna Hoeper.
Contract: 186 days (plus 2 days of new teacher orientation for new-to-district teachers, the week prior to August 25, 2025)
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota, specific content knowledge, training or job experience required before appointment, and successful student teaching. Licensure area required: Early Childhood Education. Also requires CPR/First Aid certification. Must be able to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and lift up to 30 pounds.
Salary Range: Final salary to be determined with final calculation of FTE. However, salary range listed ($46,417-$98,146) is based on a 1.0 FTE under the collective bargaining agreement for 2024-2025 school year, and may increase with the negotiation of the 2025-2026 school year collective bargaining agreement. FTE less than 1.0 will be paid pro rata of the 1.0 FTE salary scale.
