Schedule: Varies by level and building school days
Wages: $175/day.
Benefits: No benefit eligibilty, other than Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST) as provided by law.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and required substitute teaching license (short-call, long-call, lifetime, or Tier 3 or Tier 4).
Application Process
Please apply online and attention application materials to Angel Lussier, Human Resources Supervisor. Once your teaching license is verified, you will be sent a background check link and online new hire paperwork link. Once your background check is approved, you will be invited to an in-person interview. Selected applicants will complete in-person paperwork (bring your driver's license and social security card) on site following the interview. All new substitutes will attend mandatory substitute training on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 9am to 1pm, paid at the hourly rate of $21.88/hour or $87.50/4 hours. Substitutes will then be entered into SmartFind, our substitute management system and can begin substitute teaching starting Friday, September 5, 2025.
