What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at St. Michael Lutheran Church?
Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide support to Congregation Members, Church Council and Church Staff. This person performs all general administrative duties including weekly communications, supplies / inventory management, and handling most visitor and phone traffic.
Current Office Hours are Monday thru Thursday, 9 am to Noon. Also, some occasional Sunday hours are expected. The office hours can be adjusted if necessary.
This position reports to the Lead Pastor.
Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma. Additional education in office related skills is helpful
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with CANVA, Website updates, Adobe Shop / Adobe Creative Suite is preferred
- Recordkeeping experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Demonstrate very good interaction skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
- Flexibility to work more hours in the future if responsibilities increase.
