Responsibilities
Our newly opened Emergency Department is the second largest in the state of Washington, and offers 52 state of the art private treatment rooms. The open floor model allows for greater visibility, patient safety, and supports our team nursing approach. Doctors, Nurses, ED Techs, and Social Workers collaborate to provide our patients with the best in emergency care. Critical patients can be transferred and received by helicopter with a helipad located on the hospital rooftop. We are certified by the Joint Commission as a Cardiac and Stroke Center and are designated as a Level III Trauma Center with 2 private bays for providing critical care. The front end process includes 6 Fast track and 5 triage rooms with assigned doctors and nurses to support rapid assessment and treatment. Our staff pride themselves in providing excellent emergency care to the community in which we live and serve.

Provides health care education and guidance to patient and their families. Educates regarding results, findings and diagnoses to patient and the patient’s family within scope of practice.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an
(BSN) preferred
- 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience
Licensure and Certifications
- Active RN licensure
- Basic life support is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing
Association: Basic Life Support.
- Additional certifications may be required based on population(s)
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
- Must meet the requirements of the year long program, including preparation work and class attendance
- Must remain in a full-time position for the entirety of the year long program
- Must be able to work and train on either night or day shifts including holidays
- Must agree to terms and conditions of the program
Pay Range
$42.43 - $71.67 /hour
