St. Michael Medical Center is looking for an RN to join our team in our hospital in Silverdale! This 500,000 Square-foot hospital will be the most energy-efficient hospital in Washington and will provide an extraordinary healing environment for our patients with beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet. • Assesses and cares for post-partum and newborn patients.
• Identifies and provides appropriate interventions to mothers with post-partum complications.
• Provides support and education to breast-feeding mothers.
• Identifies full-term infants at risk for complications and provides appropriate care to the full-term infant with complications.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN degree is preferred.
• Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required.
• One year of related work experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Previous Mother-Baby experience, or One to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification. Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) completion within 6 months of date of hire.
• National Certification Corporation (NCC) or American Nurses Credentialing Center certification preferred.
