ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael's is seeking candidate for a Junior Budget Analyst position to support for a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) client's financial management office. As a Junior Budget Analyst, you will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your leadership, problem solving, and expertise with the processes and systems used to support financial management operations across DHS. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will work side by side with government personnel and a team of financial management experts providing support across our client's multiple financial offices
LOCATION
Springfield, V.A.
WHO YOU ARE
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance or currently have an active Public Trust Clearance (or higher).
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- One (1) to Three (3) years of federal financial and accounting experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively with a group or independently.
- Ability to read / interpret management policy, regulations, and directives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
