St. Monica Center is a 180 LTC / ST Rehab Facility looking for a Full Time Weekend Day Shift Registered Nurse Supervisor 7a-7p to join our Team!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in directing and supervising the implementation of the resident care plan, including but not limited to: ensuring use of appropriate safety devices, positioning and toileting plans, infection control measures.
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor will regularly rounding on nursing units that includes but is not limited to: checking in with licensed and unlicensed staff, checking residents who are acutely ill or actively dying, greeting all new admissions.
- The RN Supervisor will assure that staff treats residents with dignity and respect.
- The RN Supervisor will assure staff follow facility policies and procedures.
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in creating a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances resident care and quality of life.
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor will support the healthcare staff to document correctly. Assist in determining root cause, and in initiating preventive measures/interim safety plan. Assure communication to all responsible parties including administration and unit managers.
- The RN Supervisor will facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, responsible parties or outside vendors as needed to ensure resident care needs are appropriately met.
- The RN Supervisor will consult with Unit Managers in the provision of continuity of care to residents.
- The RN Nurse Supervisor will facilitate communication between shift staff and unit managers/DON/ADON.
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department.
- The Registered Nurse Supervisor will assist in direct resident care and work as a staff nurse, as necessary.
- The RN Nurse Supervisor will prepare/administer performance reviews for shift staff in consultation with unit managers; provide correction/re-education to shift staff as needed.

Experience:
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- RN (Required)
