Front Desk Attendant
Summary
The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for greeting individuals, coordinating visitor appointments, and directing all visitors to the appropriate areas. The Front Desk Attendant handles customer inquiries, and solves any problems that may arise, ultimately helping to foster a positive image of St. Monica’s.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Welcome individuals who enter St. Monica’s in a warm and pleasant manner
· Cheerfully answer the telephone and coordinate visitation appointments
· Ask all staff and visitors COVID-19 screening questions and take everyone’s temperature prior to being allowed in the facility; assure the Visiting Attestation Form has been signed prior to the visit
· Hand out masks, as needed
· Maintain cleanliness of the front desk areas to contribute to an exceptional first impression of St. Monica’s
· Escort community members to and from visits
· Clean and sanitize visiting areas after each visit
· Contact housekeeping and maintenance departments as needed when a problem is reported
Requirements
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Highly organized and efficient
· Have a great personality that naturally connects with a wide variety of people
· Demonstrates strong customer service skills and enjoy serving others
· Can work gracefully and quickly under pressure
· Works well in a collaborative team environment
· Have excellent communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.50 per hour
Schedule:
- Weekends as needed
