Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
The Student Naturalists work to engage the college and the community to interact with and understand the St. Olaf Natural Lands.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Organize campus wide tree plantings, seed collecting, etc.
* Create environmental education opportunities for the community
* Create & maintain Natural Lands information/volunteer board
* Organize and lead field trips
* Create Instagram posts to advertise events
* Help with prescribed burns
* Work with Natural Lands Manager to remove invasive species
* Participate in natural history education training, including weekly meetings and individual projects
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
* Strong interest in Land/Prairie Management Dependable and punctual
* Strong written communication skills Strong verbal communication skills
* Able to work in a team environment Able to work with minimal supervision
* Experience with hand tools for land management
