Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Assist the Physics Stockroom Technician with inventory and storeroom organization. Opportunity to learn how to operate equipment in the physics shops. Selling and shipping items no longer needed. Assisting the Physics Technician with other projects/tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Physics Stockroom Technician with inventory and storeroom organization. Opportunity to learn how to operate equipment in the physics shops. Selling and shipping items no longer needed. Assisting the Physics Technician with other projects/tasks as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Mechanical hands-on light equipment assembly / de-assembly (training available).
- lab view or other coding and or CAD work is a plus
- Sell and ship packages using eBay and other sources.
- Assist staff with projects and tasks.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
- Self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Knowledgeable with eBay research.
- Computer skills including Excel and database programs.
- Efficient in wrapping and shipping packages.
- General mechanical ability preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Dependable and punctual.
