Summary/objective:
The Business Development Intern will support the company's growth initiatives by conducting market research, identifying potential business opportunities, and assisting in the development of strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include post-trade show support, reaching out to prospective clients, and contributing to the creation of sales and marketing materials. The intern will collaborate closely with the business development team to generate leads, and support client outreach efforts. This role analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Computer Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
- CRM familiarization
Experience Requirement:

Education Requirement:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or a related degree
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a training guide of procedures from information provided by the BD team (LNL, Project Closeouts, Client Concierge, tradeshow timeline)
- Identify and convert unqualified contacts to leads after first confirming the contact is active.
- Post-trade show follow-up emails with the attendees the BDEs have not connected with pre/post show. using a pseudonym.
- SOCO Business Solutions telemarketing support
Work Environment:
Primarily a controlled office environment.
Physical Demands:
St Onge Company operates both hybrid and remote office options. This is an in-office position that typically requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, sitting, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Requires exerting up to 20 pounds infrequently. Minimum physical effort is required. Reasonable accommodations can be made to meet the needs of individuals with different physical abilities.
