EXPECTATIONS
· Monitors process operation from DCS.
· Keeps shift log of process events.
· Assists Machine Technician as needed.
· Communicates with RF & Boiler House as needed.
· Responsible for personal safety.
· Responsible for overall operation of process during off hours – night shift, weekends, holidays.
· Assists other team members as necessary.
· Performs housekeeping duties.
· Responsible for achieving focus five objectives.
· Responsible for accurate and complete exchange of information with in coming crew.
· Responsible for monitoring and reporting performance of team members.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· May require lifting of 100 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
· May require stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
· May require talking and/or hearing (such as talking to express or exchange ideas and hearing by perceiving the nature of sounds by the ear.)
· May require obtaining impressions through the eye that relate to the size, shape, distance, motion, color, or other characteristics of objects.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Work is located inside and protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
· Physical surroundings may have extremes of wet and humid conditions and may be subject to noise and vibration.
· Physical surroundings may expose individual to fumes, odors, humidity, wet, dust, and poor ventilation.
· 12-hour work schedule.
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure. Perform the four operations with like common and decimal fractions. Compute ratio,-- rate, and percent. Draw and interpret bar graphs.
· Able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools, and equipment, and methods of procedures in mechanical drawing and layout work.
· Able to read instructions for assembling and disassembling equipment and/or machinery.
· Attention to detail
· Basic computer skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
