We are seeking to hire an Assistant Activities Director.
Assistant Activities Director Qualifications:
- Certification Minimum at the MEPAP Activity Professional Level required.
- High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ Activities experience in a Long-Term Care environment.
Assistant Activities Director Job Summary:
- Assist in administration of the activities function of the care plan process.
- Assist in training of activity staff.
- Develop and maintain a good rapport with all units involved with the care plan to ensure that a team effort is achieved in developing a comprehensive plan of care.
- Visit residents and provides assistance with activities.
- Assist in developing, administering and coordinating unit policies and procedures.
- Radiate positive energy and give residents reasons to celebrate every day.
