Central Supply / Purchasing Clerk

A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964. We are seeking to hire a Central Supply / Purchasing Clerk.
- $25 to $26 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
Central Supply / Purchasing Clerk Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years’ experience in a similar health care role required.
- Previous inventory experience preferred.
Central Supply / Purchasing Clerk Job Summary:
- Collaborate with the Administration, Purchasing, and Director of Nursing in creating a master PAR levels of medical supplies within the facility.
- Maintain medical supplies inventory by checking stock and notifying Purchaser to order more as necessary.
- Unpack, check supply condition, amount and verifying on receipt and reporting discrepancies.
- Perform Cycle Counting, Inventory and maintain records for each PAR location as needed.
- Respond to facility and supplier inquiries about status, changes, or cancellations.
- Retrieve requisition forms, fills orders, and deliver to the requested department.
- Pack supplies that need to be returned or sent out. Ensure that return labels are correct.
- Calculate and update the burn rate for the infection control supplies.
