What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant position at St Paul Elder Services, Inc?
We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at St. Paul Elder Services, a premier aging services provider in the Fox Cities located in Kaukauna.
The ideal candidate will have successfully completed a Certified Nurse Aide program and be certified in Wisconsin. Prior experience as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation center is desirable but not required. We offer competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for PM and Overnight shifts.
Full-time and part-time positions are available on Day, PM, and Overnight shifts. Current openings include part-time positions on all shifts. CNAs work an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation.

Essential job duties and responsibilities for CNAs include:
- Bathing, shampooing, dressing, and grooming assigned residents and assisting with personal hygiene to enhance their comfort and well-being
- Taking readings such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, blood sugars, and bladder screening
- Monitoring resident intake/output according to resident care plan and documenting accordingly
- Assisting with serving and feeding of residents
- Positioning, range of motion, transferring, and ambulating residents according to resident care plan and documents accordingly
- Utilizing proper lifting and body mechanics to prevent injury to residents, self, and/or co-workers
- Recognizing and reporting signs/symptoms of a potential resident change in condition to the unit charge nurse
- Responding appropriately in emergency situations
