St. Paul Lutheran School is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled teacher to join our Lutheran school community. The teacher will provide high-quality instruction in a Christ-centered environment, nurturing students academically, spiritually, and emotionally. This role involves lesson planning, classroom management, faith integration, and collaboration with staff and families to support student growth.
Qualifications
Personal Faith Life
- Maintain a personal prayer/devotional life.
- Demonstrate engagement in the communal life of a local Christian church.
- Consistently engage in the spiritual and communal life St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Required Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Education.
- Valid state teaching certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Lutheran Teacher’s Diploma (preferred).
- Graduate degree or current work towards a graduate degree (preferred).
- Clean Background Check.
- Experience teaching in a Christian or Lutheran school setting (preferred).
- Experience or desire to teach in an urban setting with a diverse student community (preferred).
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Passion for Christian education and student development.
