Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote learning and development in preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety, and supporting their emotional and social growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and foster literacy education.
- Basic knowledge of the Bible to teach Bible curriculum.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor children's progress through basic assessments.
- Facilitate daily activities including arts, crafts, music, and outdoor play to promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in teaching and methods.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care through constant supervision and adherence to childcare regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment effective for learning.
Qualifications
- Associates in childhood development/Childcare Certifications preferred.
- Previous experience working in daycare settings, private schools, or childcare centers is highly desirable.
- Strong strategies for preschool-aged children.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children are essential qualities for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $11.75 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
