Teach religious subjects according to the Holy Scriptures and the confessions of the Lutheran Church.
Insist upon Christian life-worthy conduct, worthy of imitation on the part of the pupils, supervise their play time, and co-operate with the principal and other teachers in keeping Christian discipline.
Give efficient instruction in the secular branches of education according to the outlined course of study and correlating all instruction to God’s Word.
Shall be willing to help with unspecified duties which may occur during the school term.
Attend the conferences of our Lutheran teachers, unless properly excused.
Shall teach _a single-grade or multi-grade classroom.
Help with the school choirs, Christmas Program, Spring Operetta, Lutheran School Field Day as necessary and where feasible. Total contracted days are 189 – 180 school days and 4 in-service days and 5 holidays as per the 2025-2026 St. Paul’s School Calendar.
Qualifications
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience working with elementary students
- Proficiency in literacy and math education
- Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning
- Ability to support diverse learning needs, including special education
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and learning technologies
- Commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $41,400.00 - $54,000.00 per year
