What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASP House Supervisor (Hourly/Non-Exempt) position at St. Paul's School?
The Advanced Studies Program at St. Paul’s School announces a search for the position of House Supervisor (Hourly/Non- Exempt) for a five-week residential program from mid-June through the end of July 2025. Program dates are June 16 - July 28, 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- living in and supervising a dorm of approximately 25-30 high school students;
- supervising the dorm during evening hours for the duration of the program, as the primary responsible party 3-4 evenings a week and being available to support the residential duty team on other evenings;
- supervising and mentoring a residential team of 2-4 college-aged interns;
- serving as the primary point of contact for parents of the house’s residents;
- conducting weekly house meetings on Sunday evenings;
- building a positive house community in which all students are safe, included, and nurtured;
- setting up the house before students arrive and ensuring the cleanliness of the house after students move out;
- completing evaluations of both residents and interns prior to departing campus;
- ensuring student attendance in morning Chapel four mornings a week;
- attending evening sessions of the New Hampshire Leadership Institute, and ensuring student attendance and proper decorum;
- actively administer Program policies, rules and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree. The successful candidate will have prior residential life leadership experience at the secondary school or collegiate levels. The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and must be able to work collaboratively as part of a team. The Advanced Studies Program seeks innovative educators who are eager to participate in the academic and co-curricular life of this dynamic residential community.
