Position Description
The successful candidate will be a creative, passionate, and experienced middle school science teacher with a strong educational background. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity and a love for science through engaging, hands-on instruction that aligns with the school's educational philosophy. This position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, collaboration, and inquiry-based exploration. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a dynamic science curriculum aligned with state and national standards.
- Create and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons in areas such as life science, earth science, physical science, and basic chemistry.
- Foster a classroom environment that supports the unique learning styles and developmental needs of middle school boys.
- Encourage curiosity and scientific inquiry through experiments, projects, and real-world applications.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school-wide events.
Candidate must have a minimum of three years teaching experience with middle school teachers and a bachelors degree in science, education or related field with a masters preferred. Strong classroom management skills, being an excellent communicator, and a passion for science education are required.

The St. Paul’s Schools has a compensation scale based on direct years of experience and degree held. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s years of experience, education and skills. For this opportunity, our salary range is $45,000 to $58,000 annually. Candidates with additional experience or qualifications may be offered a salary outside of the range shown.
