RN - Acute Care-Med Surg unit - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital-WEEKEND TRACK DAYS
If you are looking for an RN position but need your weekdays free, this Weekend Track Days position is for you! This schedule would entail working only every Saturday&Sunday 12 hour shifts. FT Weekend Track is eligible for Full-Time Medical benefits. Sunnyview is a dynamic state-of-the-art physical rehabilitation hospital, a one of it's kind in the Northeast!
Schedule: Every Saturday 7a-7:30p and Sunday 7a-7:30p

What you will do:
Assist individuals with disability and/or chronic illness to attain and maintain maximum function.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients in adapting to an altered lifestyle, while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families.
- Design and implement treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psychosocial and spiritual health.
- The RN will be trained to perform complex patient assessments, complex medical interventions relevant to their unit (ie. IVP meds, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, ventilators, telemetry, chest tubes, tracheostomy care and weaning, tube feedings…).
What you will need:
- New York State RN License.
- Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN Preferred
- 1 yr RN Experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Experience based Pay Range for non-weekend track hours worked :$35.00 - $49.95 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
