Job Title : Medical Director

Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per week

Experience : Board Certified / Board Eligible in Hematology / Oncology

License : New York license (or in process)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

Board Certified in Internal Medicine
DEA registration

Job Description :

Provide leadership and direction for a well-established Cancer Care program.

Lead a team of five physicians and four advanced practitioners.

Participate in a tumor boards program and grand rounds.

Treat a diverse range of cancers with access to high-quality surgical services.

Offer both oncological and hematological care, with a balanced focus (50 / 50).

Manage outpatient clinics located on hospital campuses.

Work collaboratively with a strong supportive team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Engage in a patient care schedule that includes seeing 20-30 outpatients and 15-20 inpatients per day.

Participate in a call rotation of 1 : 5 for both weekends and weeknights.

Use the Epic electronic medical record system to document patient care.

Commit to continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Notes :

Open to H-1B visa candidates.

Cannot accept J-1 waivers.
