Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and curriculum development.
- Support students with their learning activities, ensuring they understand the material.
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Monitor student behavior and assist with classroom management to promote a safe learning space.
- Provide individualized attention to students who may need extra support in their learning journey.
- Facilitate activities that promote childhood development, including literacy education and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications
- Experience working with students or children in an educational or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning is a plus.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
- Ability to foster literacy education through engaging activities and support.

- Monitors playground and lunch supervision.
