Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, multi-talented Distillery Operative with a passion for spirits and exceptional people skills. The ideal candidate will be an expert Mixologist with a solid command of HubSpot CRM, able to lead engaging distillery tours, host tastings, and manage our retail operations. This role blends hospitality, sales, and craft spirit knowledge into a key front-line position at our distillery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mixology & Hospitality
- Serve as the lead mixologist, crafting premium cocktails using in-house spirits
- Design seasonal drink menus and cocktail experiences for guests
- Ensure a high standard of service and customer satisfaction at all times
- Tours & Tastings
- Conduct informative and engaging distillery tours for guests and groups
- Host guided tastings that highlight the unique aspects of our spirits and production process
- Provide exceptional storytelling to enhance the guest experience
- Retail Management
- Oversee daily operations of the retail space, including product displays, inventory, and sales
- Ensure the store environment is welcoming, organized, and reflective of brand values
- Handle POS transactions and customer queries with professionalism
- CRM & Marketing
- Utilize HubSpot to manage customer data, support sales initiatives, and assist with marketing campaigns
- Track and analyze guest feedback to improve the visitor experience
- Collaborate with the marketing team on events, promotions, and customer outreach
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mixologist with strong knowledge of craft cocktails and spirits
- Proficiency with HubSpot CRM – marketing, sales, and service tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in retail or hospitality management is a strong plus
- Passion for storytelling, education, and the distillation process
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred Qualities:
- WSET or spirits certification
- Familiarity with artisanal or craft spirits industry
- A charismatic presence and love for engaging with the public
Compensation & Employment Terms:
