Duties/Responsibilities
- Cultivates, prunes, sprays, fertilizes, plants, and transplants wide variety of shrubs, plants, trees, and flowers.
- Waters shrubbery, hedges, seedlings, flowers and lawns.
- Prepares propagation beds, potting materials, and tropical plantings.
- Pots, sprays, and waters greenhouse plants, flowers, and shrubs
- Cuts grass using power or hand mowers as needed
- Trims and edges sidewalks, driveways, and flower beds
- Cuts weeds and brush and removes leaves and rubbish from grounds.
- Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

- Ability to understand written English
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required.
- Six (6) months experiences as a Groundskeeper Assistant or equivalent
- Valid State of Texas Driver’s License required or obtained within 6 months of being hired

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Primarily at desk with some degree of standing or walking as needed per event.
- Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on a computer
- Normal physical activity including some bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting as applicable to volunteer activities.
