Duties:
- Provide instruction to elementary school students in various subjects, including math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and student engagement
- Utilize effective and innovative teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success and achievement
- Implement behavior management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment *
Requirments:
- Bachelor's Degree in education or related field
Preferences:
- Master's degree in education or related field
- 3 years of teaching experience focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) instruction for elementary age students (beyond any state mandated student-teaching experience)
- A sensitivity and knowledge of the needs of a diverse community and the ability and commitment to work effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

The salary range listed below is for entry level candidates with a BS or MS. Salary is calculated on an individual basis depending on education and years of relevant experience.
