ASSISTANT VARSITY BASEBALL COACH JOB DESCRIPTION:
St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School is seeking a qualified varsity assistant baseball coach for the 2025 spring season. We are looking for a qualified coach that will emphasize the values of leadership, sportsmanship and goodness, values that lie at the core of the athletic program here at St. Stephen's and St. Agnes School. All coaching positions are part time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baseball, with a focus on utilizing technology like GameChanger and other baseball-specific tools. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for supporting the Head Coach in planning and executing practice drills, coaching players on the field, and providing strategic input during games.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of practice drills and game strategies.
- Utilize baseball technology and GameChanger for player development and game analysis.
- Coach players during practices and games, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Collaborate with the Head Coach to foster a positive and competitive team environment.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the growth and development of each player.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with baseball coaching, preferably at the high school and club level.
- Proficiency in GameChanger and other baseball-related technologies, as well as social media platforms such as instagram and X.
- Strong knowledge of baseball drills, strategies, and player development techniques.
- Excellent communication and motivational skills.
- A passion for baseball and a drive to help players achieve their full potential.
