What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher, Math, Elementary School (EX) (2025-2026) - St. Stephen, Kingsville MD position at St Stephens School?
The Math Teacher will serve as a full-time teacher in our Pre-K3 through 8th grade Catholic School. The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing standard based lessons as prescribed by the Archdiocese of Baltimore. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, 10-month teaching position. This position would be for teaching math to students in Kindergarten, Grades 1,2 and 3.
Essential Functions
- Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
- Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons for elementary-age students. Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and orderly learning environment.
- Strive to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of every student.
- Integrate technology into the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with parents, responding to inquiries in an empathetic and timely manner.
- Collaborate with school administrators, teacher, parents, and community member in educating students.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Current or pending MSDE certification.
- Experience in a Catholic school preferred, but not required.
Pay Range: $48,000, Annualized
