JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

JOB SUMMARY :
Provides strategy, development, implementation, and maintenance of St. Tammany Health System applications to align with organizational goals. This role involves managing application teams and driving innovation through technology solutions. Responsibilities include defining application roadmaps, managing budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality user experiences. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and collaboration with stakeholders are key to achieving operational efficiency and digital transformation. Works in collaboration with partner health system application teams and leader stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Information Technology or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant healthcare IT Leadership experience with application strategy and project management
- Must have direct experience in Epic and Workday
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or LEAN Six Sigma training a plus
- Strong understanding of healthcare processes, workflows, and practices
- Ability to establish and build strong relationships with providers, leaders, staff, team members, and partner subject matter experts (SMEs)
- Very strong project and program management skills; demonstrated track record leading cross-functional initiatives
- Advanced critical thinking, logic, and problem-solving skills including the ability to rationalize complex, multi-faceted problems into smaller, manageable issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 10 pounds is required.
