JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
WORK SHIFT: (Mon - Friday) 7:30am - 3:30pm
JOB SUMMARY:
Receives supplies and equipment from all carriers and delivers to correct department or personnel. Makes sure contents are accurate and matches purchase order and packing slip accurately. Obtains a signature via handheld device to verify the items have been received by the requesting department. Prepares outgoing freight. Helps to maintain cleanliness and safety of loading dock.
Assists the Materials Management Department in achieving a high level of customer service. Receives supplies and equipment delivered by UPS, Federal Express, truck lines and any other carriers. Examines all contents to ensure packing slip, product and purchase order agree if there are discrepancies these are reported to the buyer immediately. Checks all packages for exceptions. Reports products with no purchase order referenced to buyers in order to deliver package to correct department. Delivers in a timely manner and obtains a signature in the MSCM (Mobile Supply Chain Management) handheld system. Delivers all overnight and refrigerated products immediately. Prepares outgoing packages for Courier delivery to satellites. Prepares returns and repairs for pick-up by distributor, UPS, Fed Ex or other carrier.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma. Must communicate effectively with customers. Previous warehouse & electric pallet jack experience preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.

Constant (67%-100%) – lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing
Frequently (34%-66%) – balancing, stooping
Occasionally (1%-33%) – climbing (stairs, ladders, poles, etc.), crouching
