JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40
JOB SUMMARY :
Operates STHS’s Mobile CT Unit as scheduled. Safe driving measures must be practiced at all times, using good judgment when operating the bus from location to location. The driver must report any needed repair / preventive maintenance to the Plant Operations Department for action. Ensures the bus is clean and presentable at all times. During times when the bus is not in use, the driver will assume other functions within the hospital such as reception, scheduling, driving the golf cart, and other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Must be a High School graduate or equivalent. Current CDL license required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 10 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
Physical Effort required :
Constant (67%-100%) – handling / feeling, talking, hearing, seeing
Frequently (34%-66%) – climbing (stairs, ladders, poles, etc.), reaching
Occasionally (1%-33%) – lifting, carrying, pushing / pulling, stooping, crouching
