JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Scheduled Weekly Hours : 40
Hours : 8 : 00 am - 4 : 00 pm. Must be flexible based on Hospital needs. May require some weekends based on project management operations and customer needs.
JOB SUMMARY :
A Support Services Tech is responsible for performing various tasks to aid daily operations at a specific job site within STHS. Responsibilities include but not limited to moving, securing, installing, building, loading, and unloading materials. Performs various physical duties as assigned. Maintain all safety standards. Performs some specialized tasks which may require on-the job training. Effectively using heavy and light equipment, depending on the jobsite / assignment. Moves items from place to place, according to direction from the site supervisor. Moving tools, equipment, or other material as directed in plans or by supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma required
- Must have a valid and current state issued driver’s license.
- Must maintain and provide proof of automobile insurance (at his / her own expense) in amounts which meet at least the minimum liability coverage limits required by the state of their residence.
- Clearance of driving record check; Driving records shall not contain any of the following : a suspended or revoked driver’s license, 3 or more moving violations in the past 36 months, 2 or more accidents in the past 36 months, 1 or more instances of driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while intoxicated (DWI) within the past 24 months, at fault in a fatal accident within the past 5 years, leaving the scene of an accident within the past 36 months, and / or reckless driving within the past 12 months.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Occasionally (1%-33%) - lifting, carrying, pushing / pulling, balancing, climbing (stairs, ladders, etc), crouching, stooping, crawling
