Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our infant room family. This role involves working with children in a private school setting, utilizing various teaching methodologies and parenting skills/advice, to support their developmental needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early literacy, social skills, and emotional development.
- Provide individualized support for children with varying needs, including those requiring early intervention or special education.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and share best practices in early childhood education.
- Supervise and care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the school day.
- Foster a love for learning through hands-on activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is a "nice to have".
- Experience in early childhood settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and special education practices working with infants is a bonus.
- Strong skills in behavior management and classroom organization.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff is a must.
- Ability to develop age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards.
- A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through effective teaching practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
