Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day laundry tasks according to established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate laundry services with nursing staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Collect, weigh, and sort soiled laundry, linens, and garments, applying special stain treatments as needed.
- Wash, dry, fold, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry efficiently.
- Maintain an adequate supply of laundry and housekeeping supplies in designated areas.
- Keep work areas clean, and ensure all equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored.
Requirements
• Must possess a minimum of an 8th grade education, High School Graduate or GED preferred
• Must be punctual, dependable, and demonstrate compassion and patience
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
• Interact professionally with residents, family members, visitors and staff
