St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale is looking to hire an energetic and creative High School Theology Teacher for the current school year. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program for High School Theology in alignment with the mission, vision and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Required: Bachelors Degree in Theology or related Religious Studies field from an accredited Catholic university/college. Ideal candidate will be working towards a Masters Degree in Theology or Religious studies. Additional qualifications should include excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technology, including ipads in the classroom. Experience in engaging students through project-based learning, excellent classroom management skills, effective and strong communication including clear English speaking voice and professional demeanor.
