What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Math Teacher position at St. Thomas Aquinas Middle & High School?
Responsibilities include teaching math. Subjects include:
Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry: A course emphasizing in linear and quadratic equations. Accuracy working with exponents, variables, and rational expressions is developed for use in science and advanced math and trigonometry.
Honors Pre Calculus: A course emphasizing on computational skills as well as the understanding of concepts underlying mathematical procedures. Major content areas include the real number system, logic, analytical geometry, sequences, limits and functions with an introduction to calculus.
Honors Probability and Statistics: A course including basic probability, counting, representing data graphically, summarizing and analyzing data using hypothesis testing, confidence intervals and normal distribution..

- Use a variety of engaging instructional strategies to assist students with learning and in meeting course standards.

- Regularly communicate necessary information to students, team members, and supervisors regarding students’ needs.
- Work collaboratively with staff for the good of students and the school.
- Desire to grow professionally by partaking in professional development.

Qualifications for this position:
- Valid Ohio teaching license in Math or ability to acquire one.

Pay: $35,368.00 - $65,000.00 per year
