Position Overview:
St. Thomas University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor in the Ethical Leadership Program. We are seeking dynamic and experienced individuals who are passionate about teaching and mentoring students in the field of Ethical Leadership. The successful candidate will teach both in-person classes on campus and occasionally online courses. Courses may include Ethical Leadership, Cross-Cultural Leadership, and Interpersonal Leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including but not limited to Ethical Leadership, Cross-Cultural Leadership, and Interpersonal Leadership.
- Develop and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, exams, and other instructional materials.
- Engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field and incorporate current research and best practices into teaching.
- Provide timely feedback and grading to students, ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment.
- Participate in department meetings, professional development, and other university-related activities as required.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support the mission and goals of the Ethical Leadership Program.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master's degree in Ethics, Leadership, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a closely related field is required; a Ph.D. or Ed.D. is preferred.
- Previous teaching experience at the college or university level is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ethical theories and their application to leadership and organizational behavior.
- Ability to teach in both in-person and online formats, with experience in virtual teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Blackboard, etc.).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
