What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Supervisor position at St. Timothy's School?
St. Timothy’s School, an Episcopal school in Raleigh, NC, on a six-acre church/school shared campus of 6 buildings and approximately 580 students in grades pre-K to 8, is seeking a Facilities Supervisor. The Facilities Supervisor serves on the school’s Facilities, Operations, and Security Team and reports to the Director of Facilities. This is a full-time, 12-month position.
Responsibilities: The Facilities Supervisor serves as the initial point of contact for most of the school’s facilities and operational needs and is responsible for ensuring facilities services are provided in a timely and effective manner.
Furthermore, she/he will:
- Monitor facilities/maintenance helpdesk tickets, ensuring all tickets are responded to and completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with setup for school events and meetings.
- Maintain physical condition of facilities and grounds and assist with repairs and grounds maintenance, as needed.
- Serve as a point of contact with contractors, including scheduling service, reporting issues, and following up to ensure issues have been resolved.
- Direct vendors, team members, and service providers to create a safe and efficient campus environment and minimize disruption for students, colleagues, and neighbors.
- Support and assist the Director of Facilities and team with administration requirements, project implementation, materials procurement, and scheduling.
- Proactively contribute towards a sense of pride in the Facilities, Operations, and Security Team and all campus facilities and grounds.
