Hours/Schedule: 8hrs/day Monday-Friday 8a-4p
Biweekly pay schedule

Job Summary
In alignment with the mission and vision of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul, the eCommerce Utility is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of online auction sales on various auction platforms, which is primarily eBay, by sourcing appropriate product to sell online, assisting in the product listing process, packaging listed items for safe shipment, processing sold items for final shipment, and fielding customer inquiries about listed items.
Essential Functions:
· Sources items for potential online sales. Cleans, and tests items such as video game systems, audio components, and appliances.
· Effectively research values of items to be competitively priced within the appropriate market.
· Take high quality display photos of items to maximize the information and maximize selling price.
· Add items to auction sites in creative ways to maximize selling potential.
· Meets or exceeds daily/weekly/monthly listing quotas as determined by Ecommerce Manager.
· Package all items for safe delivery.
· Responds to customers and provides service for active listings with after-sales support when required.
· Ensures adherence to state laws and agency and site-specific policies.
· Treats customers, coworkers and volunteers with dignity and respect in accordance with SVdP mission and values.
· Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and volunteers.
· Report to work promptly and as scheduled, following SVdP guidelines for calling in any absences
· Report on employee or customer concerns to Store Management
· Maintain the organization of supplies, incoming products, listed product, and outgoing product
· Other duties as assigned by eCommerce Manager
Other responsibilities: The eCommerce Utility, under direction from eCommerce Manager or eCommerce Team Lead, provides sole primary support to the eCommerce department in the absence of the eCommerce Manager or eCommerce Team Lead.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent with previous online sales experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Knowledge of various categories of desirable, high-value merchandise and passion for learning
· Knowledge of selling on online auction (eBay) and with selling on other online marketplaces
· Knowledge of various electronics functions and values such as video game systems, audio components, and appliances
· Knowledge of electrical component testing procedures. Electronics certificate is a plus.
