Job Overview
Provides general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks including answering phones, ordering office supplies, processing mail, preparing daily and monthly reports and pantry orders.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Answer telephones
- Greeting visitors
- Receive and process incoming mail
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of office supplies
- Coordinate the repairs and maintenance of office equipment
- Type correspondence including daily and monthly reports, thank-you letters, and spreadsheets
- Maintain confidential records and files
- Prepare and deliver cash receipts for bank deposits
- Compile Check Reconciliation Report
- Complete monthly reports
- Prepare pantry orders in Primarius computer program
- Process Senior Box applications
Qualifications and requirements
- High School diploma or GED, required
- 1-3 years previous experience in an office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Drive and other computer applications
- Ability to enter data efficiently, timely, and accurately
- Excellent time management, multitasking skills, and organizational skills
- Well-developed verbal, listening, and written communications skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team player
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner
- Ability to work with a diverse community with a wide range of issues
- Ability to work in a busy office with frequent interruptions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
