Appliance Cleaner
St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County is looking for ambitious and hardworking individuals to add to our team!! We have full-time work available as an Appliance Cleaner! Candidate must have great attention to detail, and work hard and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
As a federally funded organization, we require a pre-employment drug test; testing includes cannabis. Job offers are also contingent upon completion of a background check.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Clean donated appliances such as washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, etc. with household cleaning products and power washers
- Light repairs as needed such as caulking, replacing handles, spray-painting, etc.
- Move appliances around the warehouse as needed
- Provide backup support in loading and unloading appliances onto trucks
- This list is not all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Responsibilities:
- Strong eye for detail
- Lift up to 35 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Solve problems in various situations
- Bend, twist, and stoop onto knees consistently, especially when cleaning appliances
Job Type: Hourly. Full time.
Wage: $15.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
