1. PRIMARY PURPOSE -
This role supports the Store Director in all warehouse and car lot operations and implementation of stores projects in a timely manner.
2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Daily oversite of all SVDP Warehouses and the Car Lot.
- Meets regularly with Stores Director to ensure timely awareness of problems, challenges, and opportunities.
- Develops and maintains inventory and track product status on trucking and in warehouses.
- Assists with the development of processes and procedures.
- Communication with stores management team, warehouse managers, store managers and truck drivers.
- Supervises and mentors assigned staff in a positive and supportive manner.
- Responds to staff needs and questions in a timely manner.
- Local travel within Lane county and surrounding areas.
3. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Maintain adherence to Company policies, safety/ergonomic standards and good housekeeping practices.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
4. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE -
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience in management required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel. Ability to quickly learn new programs and industry specific software.
- Demonstrated strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively multi-task, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours to accommodate business needs.
- Highly developed communication skills, written and verbal.
- Project management skills
- Ability to be successful with varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast paced environment.
