Summary
The primary functions are to determining hardware/software needs and configuring peripheral components. Diagnoses and resolves problems ranging from applications, systems, equipment and connectivity issues. Hardware. This position analyzes and solves system problems and develops proactive solutions.
Essential Functions
- Investigates user problems, identifies root cause, determines, tests, implements and communicates solutions with end users.
- Troubleshoots and repairs a variety of peripherals including but not limited to workstations, tablets, printers, interactive projectors and VOIP phones.
- Analyzes and evaluates incident reports and makes recommendations to reduce help line incident rate within a service ticketing system.
- Plans and coordinates the installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware, software systems and systems environment.
- On time completion of assigned training and policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of enterprise information technology experience.
- A certification.
- N certification.
- Advanced user of MS office.
- Be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience; possesses a valid California driver's license; and has no Class 1 or more than two Class 2 violations within the past 36 months.
- Participate in an annual Tuberculosis screening and/or other screenings when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be granted where appropriate.
