Assist dentist / student dentist / dental residents with dental patients on scheduled dates and shifts
Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation of dental patients
Properly sterilize dental instruments by utilizing an ultrasonic, correctly packaging of dental instruments, autoclaved to achieve optimum sanitation
Autoclave maintenance monthly and spore test weekly to be completed and recorded on any non-denture scheduled day
Organize and set up all dental trays for next working day
Inventory dental instruments and complete each dental procedure package when internalizing
Report and dental repairs as necessary and dental equipment maintenance as needed
Report any inventory needed
Other duties as assigned by Dental Director
Qualifications :
Dental x-ray certification / Coronal Polish Certification
Professional demeanor
Bilingual (Spanish)
Two years chair side dental experience, preferably some specialty experience
Knowledge of dental OSHA regulations for infection control
ADA Requirements :
Able sit for extended periods of time
Able to lift up to 20 pounds
Manual dexterity
Able to read, write, speak and hear
