St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho started in Coeur d’Alene (1946) with an original mission to serve the poor and homeless in our community. Today, St. Vinny’s has grown to become one of the region’s largest homeless and social service agencies.

JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain assigned facilities in safe, secure and good working order. Duties will involve both facility and grounds maintenance. It is important to be a team player who will work in harmony with others. Good attitude and great customer service skills are a must.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Attend weekly and quarterly meetings.
- Maintain properties, buildings, and landscape.
- Schedule and implement routine maintenance procedures (daily, weekly, monthly, annually).
- On a rotating “on-call” schedule, respond after normal business hours to emergency Health & Safety maintenance requests as required. This will occur every 4-6 weeks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions, (exerting up to 50 lbs. of force), reading detail work, problem-solving, stress, training, reasoning, verbal communications, customer contact, multiple concurrent tasks, interruptions.
Working Conditions: This position requires work indoors and outdoors. Adequate clothing must be worn.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with own transportation, and proof of current auto insurance.
- Knowledge of equipment procedures.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player with a positive, customer-centric attitude
- Ability to problem solve and multi-task, along with effective verbal and written communication skills.
