Job History:
As the Social Services Coordinator at St. Vincent de Paul North Idaho, you will play an important role in our mission by supporting individuals and families in North Idaho needing assistance to enrich, fortify, and rebuild their lives with dignity.
Job Summary:
The Duties included will be for Lynn Peterson, Kathy Reed and Meadowood Glen II Housing.
Essential Functions:
- Meet in community room for craft time, create calendar of events for tenants
- Answers tenant questions
- Helps tenants find community assistance
- Be aware of other assistance programs/agencies and refer clients based on their need.
- Maintain proper files
- Maintain professional standards of client and organizational confidentiality.
- Helps with tenant conflicts.
- Act as a liaison between SVDP, clients and the community as necessary.
- Meet all standards expressed by various grant program goals.
- Attend and contribute to meetings/training.
- Periodic Tenant Welfare checks
Material and Equipment Used:
- Utilizes various software applications, including Microsoft Office, as well as standard office equipment (copiers, fax machines, etc.).
Physical Activities/Mental Demands:
- Light physical work, including lifting up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Frequent mental demands, including problem-solving, multitasking, and handling interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office: (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access), Publisher.
- Knowledge on office procedures and equipment
- Good people skills
- Able to work independently
- Positive customer-oriented attitude and team player
Working Conditions:
