Saint Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a full - time and / or part - time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Working under the direction of an Occupational Therapist as well as reporting to the Director of the School-Based Rehab Program. The COTA will provide intervention for children in schools and / or in their homes, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians and teachers.
Job Requirements :
Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and strong communication skills; written and verbal. Must have excellent organizational skills and be flexible.
New York State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License required.

Salary : $46.80 to $83.40 per hour
Eligibility for Health Benefits dependent on hours worked.
