Saint Joseph's Medical Center Laboratory is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Phlebotomist to join our laboratory team.
In this role, you will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, ensuring proper labeling
and documentation, and processing samples for laboratory analysis. Keeping accurate records of tissue samples, including their identification, processing steps, and any special instructions or handling requirements (if applicable).
Identify any issues that may arise during the tissue processing cycle, such as block consistency, tissue orientation, or reagent quality, and working to resolve them (if applicable). Works closely with pathologists to ensure proper processing of samples for accurate diagnosis (if applicable). The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures and safety protocols.
